Broken Camera...

Just to let you all know I have a broken camera... went out couple of weeks ago and when I got home and went to download my photos I discovered my display screen was cracked... BUM! So I haven't taken any photos of the couple of cards I had made... then I got sick with a chest infection... then I had a friend pass away tragically (but then isn't all death tragic for those left behind)... so as you can imagine my head hasn't been in a creative space but I hope to sit and tidy my space this afternoon and hopefully this will get me started! Til next time be Creative and Inspire Others!

Cheers

p.s. this was the last photo taken on the camera... least it was a nice one!

Time to get MOTIVATED!

Well I am back... For those of you who don't know My family and I have been camping in the outback for 4 weeks... So it is time to get back to work and start creating again - oh life is so hard lol! As I haven't done a single creative thing for 4 weeks I have included the remaining cards from when Donna and I got inky back in June!!!
My Holiday has certainly inspired me with Colours, they are so vivid and clear in the Outback! Will have to see what I come up with... so keep your on eye on me!!!

BUT BEFORE I START JUST SO YOU KNOW THERE IS A NEW MINI CATALOGUE JUST RELEASED.... SOME VEEERRRRY NICE STUFF IN IT SO LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT ONE AND I WILL GET ONE TO YOU ASAP!!!! The catalogue starts 1st August til 30th November!

This card was my first for the day with Donna I sooo wanted to use this stamp with my watercolour pencils... but instead of using a paintbrush and water jar (which is my usual MO) and seeing I didn't have an 'aquapainter' I used my blender pen instead... Fantastic loved it no mess no fuss!!!

Love the Trees Donna... Donna used my 'Lovely as a Tree' stamp set for this card I think it is ... LOVELY!

Hmmm... this was my second for the day 2 colours sooo simple, very effective, good way to use up scraps too...

This was Donna's first for the day... Don't you just love Brown and Pink together... Donna is very talented and to Hang with her when you have lost your Mojo is definitely inspirational!

Well there is something for you that might inspire an idea from within I hope so....
Til next time keep Stampin'

Productive Day getting Inky

Last Friday I loaded my 'Stampin'up' gear into the car and went to spend the day in Strathalbyn with Donna (my technical advisor & member of my 'Design Team' which is just her and I doing what we do best!) As you can tell by the end of the day we were in a mess... That's how you can tell you have been productive!!! (I think anyway)
Here is a close up of our work space....

...and a wider shot!

I made 4 cards this day. Donna made 3. The following card was number 4 for me! (for memory!)
I am not gonna let you see all of them at once but will spread them out over the next couple of weeks....

I think this was my third card

I set Donna a challenge... To make a card using the 'flower fusion' felt flowers!
I think she did a really nice job... Well done Donna!

(the little heart & flourish on this card is NOT a "stampin'up" stamp but Donna NEEDED a little flourish to finish the card!)
We tried to keep all the cards simple but nice... I think we accomplished this!!! It was a great day spent sharing ideas, motivating one another, talking and simply creating!!! I highly recommend it!!!
So until next time, be kind to yourself, make time for yourself, take care of yourself and let your creativity flow!!!

Three Little Cards with Three Little Words

A Big Hello to anyone who reads this Blog,

Now this is the very first entry I have made without my Technical Advisor (Donna) helping me... I uploaded my photos all by myself and from then on I have no idea what I did!!! LOL

In the last couple of days I have been creative! I think I have found my mojo again... it has been missing for quite a while now!

I must say, I think I am liking my new 'Pocket Silouettes' stamp set, they are just so cute and versatile! But they are little - perfect for cards in my opinion!

I have been putting all the cards I have made for "Stampin'up" workshops into a display book. One thing that has stood out, is that I have done alot of ripping of card stock and tied knots in nearly all the ribbon elements... so that must be my 'thing' at the moment.

Well I do hope you like this weeks work, or even better get inspired by it!!!

So people - go stamp and be happy!!!
Til next time.......
